Alex & Will in Winter Gardens
Alex & Will wanted to do their engagement shoot in the Auckland Domain. They wanted a location that offers beautiful architecture. The Auckland Domain with the Auckland Museum provides just that with a lot of backdrops for perfect photographs. What an ideal place for their love story to be told. We started in the Winter Gardens with the amazing colours of plants and brick walls.

We wanted to go into the Fernery, another epic spot for photos. But unfortunately, it was already closed. It did not matter since we still have a lot of photo opportunities around the entrance and took amazing photographs in the area.

We left the Winter Gardens and took more photos around the Auckland Domain. The Autumn colours were gorgeous, and decided to definitely include them in the photographs.

After we enjoyed the beautiful colors around the Domain, we headed straight up to the Auckland Museum. A location with perfect architecture and full of cultural heritage. It has this grand neo-classical architecture, creating a regal and elegant atmosphere. It is a fabulous and unique choice for Alex and Will as they want to capture their love story against a backdrop of rich history and stunning architecture.

It started to drizzle a little bit while we were shooting around the museum. The rain created an intimate and cozy setting, giving Alex and Will a chance to snuggle close under an umbrella in a warm embrace.

We caught the sunset in this magnificent and iconic backdrop and it was majestic. As the sun sets over the Hauraki Gulf, the Auckland Museum's surroundings become even more romantic. The stunning views and serene atmosphere provide the perfect setting for capturing intimate and heartfelt moments between these lovers.
